it could have been you...

....I needed to pay a visit, so I found a public toilet that had two cubicles.

One of the doors was locked.

So I went into the other one, closed the door, dropped my trousers and sat down.

A voice came from the cubicle next to me: 'Hello mate, how are you doing?'

Although I thought that it was a bit strange, I didn't want to be rude,

So I replied 'Not too bad thanks.' After a short pause, I heard the voice again '

So, what are you up to?' Again I answered, somewhat reluctantly, 'Just having a quick poo..

How about yourself?'

The next thing I heard him say was .....

'Sorry mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some dick head in the loo next to me answering everything I say.'

Electric KTM Reveal!!

KTM reveals race-ready electric motorcycle, production within 2 years

If you had any doubts that electricity is the future of off-road performance, this bike should eliminate them. KTM has created a fully functional electric, zero emissions enduro prototype and intends to put it into production. In keeping with its "Ready to Race" slogan, the Zero Emissions Motorcycle is a full-on competition bike, in which capacity it will be evaluated and developed before going on-sale as little as 24 months from now.

The Austrian company is releasing very few details of the Zero Emissions Motorcycle, but has revealed that it develops 29.5lb/ft of torque and carries lithium ion batteries capable of lasting 40 minutes under "race conditions" and that can be fully recharged in just one hour. In comparison, the Quantya Strada that we rode around our Brooklyn office develops only 23lb/ft. It's difficult to compare the two models' ranges as "race conditions" are hard to define, but Quantya says the Strada should be capable of about 25 miles off-road, which sounds like a rough equivalent.

KTM's battery pack and electric motor together weigh 17kg, but some of this weight will be offset by the elimination of the clutch; exhaust pipes and canisters; fuel tank and other necessities of internal combustion. The company expects that the Zero Emissions Motorcycle will carry a small price premium over a KTM enduro of similar performance.

Discussing the thinking behind the Zero Emissions Motorcycle project, KTM board member Harald Plöckinger says the lack of noise and emissions means "We can bring now the Enduro sport again more near in the centers of dense development and cities." Indeed the greatest advantage electricity brings to dirt bikes isn't the number of spotted owls that will be saved (comparatively cars, homes and industry all pollute exponentially more than all motorcycles put together), but rather the access that the power source will be capable of granting and preserving.

Seeing the competitive advantage the Zero Emissions Motorcycle would provide KTM and the environmental and political advantages it would give both the company and the country, the project is being part financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry for traffic, innovation and technology.

da boss talking

times are bad, sale are slow

and today, i was "blame" for not bringing in sales for the coy.

and with financial crisis like this, it is even more tough.

all he say is my fault, my strategies don't work, etc

now he say will do his way, his strategies, but come back to my mind, if his plan does work, the bizness would like pick up many years ago???

anyway, it is all my faults lah...

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

It is really bad!

The business is dropping badly this month.

The boss himself is feeling the heat.

Had told him his strategies don't work anymore, but he insisted and now today, turn around and ask me how?

How?

Many of my plan didn't manage to pull through though...

Another mistake again...

I was sent to work today, while he go for his favourite pasttime, and I reckon he wouldn't forget to bring all the necessary items.

I got the address, the stuff ready (prepared by him). When I reach the area, I can't find the building, so I call him, instead he ask me call the customer. (i thought he already came down to meet the customer already?)

Anyway, call up the customer, I realise the address written by him is wrong, and worst! The stuff he prepared is wrong!

It is wrong size entirely. Wassup with him? As the owner, I believe you should at least put in that minimium of effort to ensure time and sweat is not wasted. And nowaday, petrol is so expensive.

I called him up, instead of admitting it is his mistake, he blame it on the customer who told him the wrong address and wrong size, I don't understand why?

Sorry for all this ranting, thing just not getting right...

Rainy days

It's been raining very heavily for past few days, I have been caught in the rain while riding my motobike.

Work is as the weather what the weather is now.

When will the sunny day be out??

Monday, August 25, 2008

any sense of urgency?

It seem to me like I'm a magician, i can perform magic and settle all problems.

But without team-work, it is always the case, "NO GO".

To work with someone without any sensitivity to their staff morale and needs, it is really tough.

this weekend, it gonna be another "holiday" for him and work for me? When this work is not my primary jobscope?? it seems to me that he would rather enjoy when there is job to be done??

.....

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

Tough times...

After 3 months of planning and hardwork, it seem like results does not really comes as easy or fast enough. With the limited income now, I wonder how much longer I can "tahan" before I throw in the white cloth.

And now, I'm starting to do some manual work which I suppose was not under my jobscope, I thought a manual labourer would be cheaper to engage to help with those work? For once, while we were working hard for the entire day doing the manual work, the boss went sleeping and actually snore so loud while I was sweating away, covered with dust all over me.

For this week, it is even better program for me! Da boss go on another "holiday" trip for the next few days till weekend, leaving me alone to do all the manual jobs. No choice, I guess I'm just another employee? Boss can enjoy all he want while you sweat away, hmmm...

When ask about the future plan, it was just discuss lightly on the surface and just brush pass it, it seems to me like he isn't really bother with the "so-call" plan which could benefit me but only now, benefit him only??

Finally, a medal for Singapore

Table Tennis-Singapore set for rare medal
3 hours, 19 minutes ago
Buzz Up

By Simon Rabinovitch

BEIJING, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Singapore was guaranteed their first Olympic medal since 1960—and only their second of all time—by beating South Korea on Friday to advance to the women’s team championship in table tennis.

A weightlifting silver in 1960 in Rome has stood as the city-state’s only Olympic medal.
Singapore’s women will face the winner of a semi-final between China and Hong Kong. If they lose the championship match on Sunday, they would still take home the silver.

Somewhat dulling the achievement for the country of 4.6 million, the players and coach that carried Singapore to victory were all imports from table tennis powerhouse China.

“I feel very honoured. I’ve been in Singapore for just over two years and can help it get an Olympic medal, at least a silver, for the first time in 48 years,” coach Liu Guodong said.
Fired up by a vocal pro-Singapore crowd, world number nine Feng Tianwei was the key player, launching the contest with a rapid-fire win in the first match and closing it with a classy and controlled victory in the tense final match.

Singapore beat the previously undefeated South Korea three matches to two in the best-of-five contest.

Fans were treated to perhaps the finest table tennis of the Olympics yet in a match between Beijing-born Li Jia Wei, Singapore’s top player at world number six, and Kim Kyung-ah, South Korea’s best at 11th.

CONTRASTING STYLES
The contrasting styles of Li’s aggressive topspin and Kim’s defensive chops proved the perfect blend for rallies that regularly topped 20 hits.

Li, who has been frazzled by nerves on big occasions before, showed impatience toward the end, rushing her forehand. Kim fell to her knees after sealing the win, 5-11 11-8 9-11 11-6 and 11-9.
But Li rebounded in the doubles match, pairing up with world number seven Wang Yue Gu to swat aside their Korean opponents.

Wang dropped the next match in straight games to Korea’s Dang Ye-seo, bringing Singapore’s unflappable Feng back to the table for the deciding match. Despite the acrobatics of Korea’s Park Mi-young, Feng prevailed 11-7 12-10 3-11 and 11-9, winning when the Korean committed a rare error, faulting on her serve.

“In a battle like that, everyone is nervous. So if you can just keep it cool, you’ve got an advantage,” Feng said

Fishing Competition at SAF Yacht Club

I brough my boy and my wife to the yacht club as i'm joining the fishing competition. As it is a clubhouse, i guess both of them should be able to relax in the shade, or in the pool to cool down as we predicted the weather will be hot.
Weather is extremely hot that sunday. Catch was nothing or a big fish. 1 golden travelly was caught at 11am+ and about 20mins laters, a 1.3kg chermin was landed. And then, it was all quiet and boring.
I was walking around and looking at others, but seems like all is the same result. My boy was sleeping at about 2pm+. BAck to my rod, I was leaning myself on the railing and start to day dream, with my rod leaning on the railing as well, but i was looking at the opposite direction instead.
At about 3pm+, i saw my rod butt flipping upward, and the uncle next to me quickly grab hold of my hold, before it flew into the water. I took over the rod and i feel extremely strong pulling at the other end. With only 8lbs line, I tried to thumb the spool to control the tension, and also afraid I may break my line.
However, my trick didn't work out, the line after peeling out for 50m, it is gone... retreieve my line and to only discover my hook got straighten, by a unknown monster.
Anyway, I will not let any opportunity to slip by next time, argghh...

Update of Doug Henry

by News Channel 8's Alan CohnPosted June 26, 20085:15 PM
(WTNH) _ In the world of motocross, Connecticut's own Doug Henry is a legend. He talked with News Channel 8 about his career ending and life changing accident that has not slowed him down.

Few athletes have dominated any sport like Connecticut's Doug Henry ruled motocross. Three national championships and a rider of the year award are among his accomplishments.
"I was at the top level there I reached the peak. It was my time," Henry said.

And few athletes have been able to battle back from injuries as devastating as the one in 1995.
"I went faster than I ever went before," Henry said. "I flew out too far and ended up breaking my back."

To reclaim that top spot again Henry endured months of rehabilitation.
"I almost called it quits because of how difficult it was to get up to speed. But I did get back up to speed," Henry said.

"He was a man on a mission," his wife Stacey said.
He came back and won a gold medal in the SuperMoto at the 2005 X-Games.
If that was all there was to Doug Henry's story it would be a darn good one. But it's only the beginning. Henry and his family overcame an incredible challenge but nothing like the one they were about to face.

This time there were no cameras when Henry's bike slid out from underneath him after hitting a patch of oil at a track in Florida last year.

"It's like hitting ice," Henry explained.

He and his bike hit the concrete wall.

"I knew immediately this was probably my last race," Henry said.

Doug Henry was paralyzed from the waist down. And within days, Doug's wife Stacey received a devastating diagnosis.

"She discovered breast cancer. I mean it was like we have two things we are going through but we are going to go through them together," Henry said.

"The instinct for me was to take care of him while I deal with my own health issues. I had to back off and that's how he wanted it," Stacey said.

Together and separately Doug and Stacey battled paralysis and cancer while raising two kids, 12-year old Brianna and 9-year old Ian.

"The kids aren't looking into the future and thinking about what mom and dad can't do. They want to know what we are here to do today," Henry said.

And what Stacey and Doug are here to do is live. Doug has installed hand controls in every piece of equipment on the family's 89-acre Torrington Farm. Using his upper body strength, he climbs into his bulldozer and moves piles of wood. When he's done, he climbs back into his Rhino, straps his wheelchair to the side and drives around the property.

He's built three motocross courses so neighborhood kids have someplace to ride.
"The first thing they do is look over and see if I saw what they did," Henry said.
And every day, Doug Henry straps on leg braces, pulls himself to his feet and by sheer will, walks by shifting his weight side to side.

"The repetitive motion is supposed to regenerate the nerves. I'm going by theory but it gives me something," Henry said.

"That's what I cherish and love about him the most. It's not only that attitude he applied towards racing it's truly his attitude towards living...and he's living differently now but it's still he puts a lot of heart and passion into everything he does," Stacey said.

Because today, Doug Henry isn't thinking about the championships he's won or the acclaim he's received. Today, he defines winning as being able to stand along the fence to watch his daughter play softball.

"I think this makes all the hard work I've put in worth it to see my kids play and have some fun a big smile that's what I like to see them having some fun," Henry said.

Henry is still involved in supermotocross by sponsoring Doug Henry's New England Supermoto Grand Prix in August at Stafford Motor Speedway.

all the best to Doug and Stacey!!

First male patient in KK hospital

KK hospital = a hospital for women and children only

My brother-in law wife just gave birth last friday late afternoon, it is a 3kg+ little boy. So i was thinking, cool, now it is his turn to learn to be a father, and he needs to learn how to change diapers, hahahaa.

Over the weekend, he was staying over at the hospital, accompanying his wife, it is not easy, full day at hospital, is really bad, for me, I don't know about him, this bring me back a little memories back in 2004.

My boy came into the world in 04, so the same thing, I accompany my wife in KK hospital the whole day, for 3 full days, except I went home to sleep. So one of this day, i guess is on the 2nd day afternoon, I was dead tired and I can't do anything, I got no place to lie down to rest, except on the stupid chair.

Ok, so my wife was tired of lying sooooo long on the bed, so I said, let me rest for awhile on the bed. With the curtain pulled around the bed, I lie on the bed, watching the TV, while my wife sit on the chair next to me.

Suddenly, a nurse came in from behind a curtain and walk in a gentleman after her, seem like a doctor to me. Then the staff was explaining to us that today is a anniversary of the KK hospital, so the director of the hospital is giving out souvenior to all patient today.

And, this gentleman was the director, he walk toward me with some kind of goodies bag and said:" so you are the first male patient of our hospital" hahahaa, I then start to smile at him and my wife was laughing out also, it was such a nice memories to me, and that humorous director.

The good old days...

A woman poem and a man

A Woman's PoemBefore I lay me down to sleepI pray for a man, who's not a creep,

One who's handsome, smart and strong,

One who loves to listen long,One who thinks before he speaks,

One who'll call, not wait for weeks.I pray he's gainfully employed,

When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.

Pulls out my chair and opens my door,Massages my back and begs to do more.

Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind,Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?"

I pray that this man will love me to no end,And always always be my very best friend.

A Man's Poem

I pray for a deaf-mute gymnast nymphomaniac
With huge booobs who owns a bar on a golf course
And loves to send me fishing and drinking.
This doesn't rhyme and I don't give a sh.. .

A busy week dude

Was busy deploying my plan and sending out letters, emails to all relevant parties. Manage to met up with my ex-boss, who have given quite substantial good info and perhap some assistance.

Both my kids are down with fever and flu, so when I'm back home, it is second round of busi-ness again, send them to see doc, feed milk, clear out the vomits, etc...

Reach home yesterday and realise, my bro-in-law wife have finally give birth, to a boy, at about 3kg+, didn't go visit them is because of my 2 still sick kids, shall visit them in a couple of days when they are back home.

TGIF!!

A joke

The doctor told a man that masturbating before sex, often helped men last longer during the act. The man decided, 'What the heck, I'll try it.'

He spent the rest of the day thinking about where to do it. He couldn't do it in his office. He thought about the restroom, but that was too open. He considered an alley but figured that was too unsafe.

Finally, he realized his solution. On the way home from work, he pulled his truck over on the side of the highway. He got out and crawled underneath as if examining the truck.

Satisfied with the privacy, he undid his pants and started to masturbate, he closed his eyes and thought of his lover.

As he grew closer to orgasm, he felt a quick tug at his pant leg. Not wanting to l ose his mental fantasy or the orgasm, he kept his eyes shut and replied, 'What?'

He heard 'This is the police. What in the hell are you doing?' The man replied, 'I'm checking out the rear axle, it's busted.'

The cop says, 'Well, you better check your brakes too, because your truck rolled down the hill 5 minutes ago.'

Clam digging

It was a cloudy sunny day, we were digging for clam, from 10am till about 1pm. We got a total of about half pail full (in the background), result is not totally bad, but also, not so fantastic.
Anyway, it is pretty hard work, we were squatting for almost the 3hours, as it was wet and muddy everywhere, but it is fun when you found those clam sticking in the mud.
We manage to keep the clam alive, but letting them to spit out all the sand. After a night of "detox", I ate some of them, it taste really good and fresh, without those "fishy" smell at all, no ginger or garlic is needed.
What I did was, I use a bowl with cover (microwave friendly type), pick up about 5-6 clam and put it into the bowl, and cover on. Put it into the microwave and set it to 1minute.
When the bell sounds, remove the bowl and start to eat it, it will taste so good and fresh, no ingredient needed at all!!
Man, when is the next trip!!

My son gave me this.

I didn't know this sunday is Father's day, until my boy gave this the minute yesterday when i reach home.
I'm happy :)
Have been a father since 2004, but never ever did i notice or give a damn about it, until this year, the first time i receive something from my kid, I'm touch...
Happy Father Day to all father in the world!!!

HSBC Treetop Walk 8 Jun 2008

After the last enduro race on sunday, my wife wants me to go hiking in the treetop walk, and i agreed.

It was a cloudy sunday morning, and we decided we will proceed as my wife have been looking foward to the weekend walk. It is indicated that we should reach the treetop walk in about an hour from where we park.

Can see there are quite alot of family bringing their kids, old man, old lady for this walk, air is fresh, you can see stream along the way, mango tree, etc

As the trail in pretty tight, one would walk infront, while the other will follow. Along the way, it is still about the same stuff you will see in Bt Timah hill, just that this is nearer to the main road, you can hear vehicle sound as you walk, not entirely serene like you will feel in the real nature reserve.

We reach the suspended bridge in about 1.5hours, not too bad. I was getting abit of cold feet (am afraid of height, hahaa) . Anyway, the bridge was about 250m long and it was all over, nothing really much to see except that we are at a really high spot.

We had quite a long walk back, up and down a long flight of wooden steps/ staircases. Need abit of rest at one of the resting point. My already aching thigh and bum from the last race, actually add more pain from this walk, but who cares, it should tone it up well before the next race.

anyway, sorry for this long winded and un-interesting post. Hope you enjoy it.

Sorry folks

I have been busy with doing my new stuff, from physcial hands on job, to administrative, planning, logistic etc

It is a whole new thing to me, as I handle alot more of the entire operation.

At the same time, am planning to come back riding more often, hoping it will generate more energy in myself, for work and for races.

Sorry for the many days of no show folks.

Have a nice weekend!!

MSSC enduro race round 1

Well, 1st june mark the MSSC first enduro race, round 1, 2008. I was suppose to take part in motocross instead, but i miss it, thus i join this enduro race.

I'm not well conditioned for the race, however, i just join for the sake of fun, and also to meet new friends. I used my 450 machine for the race, which is kind of a big mistake.

Anway, the sky was drizzling since early morning, in Singapore side, till the custom, and it is all dry in Nusajaya (the race track in Msia)

First time in the enduro race, I saw plenty of CRF250F, KTM 250F, the EXC and a couples of 2smokers, it seem like 250 thumper is the choice of weapon.

A sighting lap was conducted and it was kind of the bad move, many riders were stuck in a tricky session in the forest, i was lucky to ride it out of it and back to the top of the hill. We were waiting for some of the riders to clear the section before we can start the race officially. anyway, this difficult part was being take out of the track, for ease of carrying out of the race event.

I was in the expert class and it was going to be fun I guess, as enduro was never my forte, anyway, what the heck, just enjoy the ride!

Race started, with the expert class, follow by the novice riders. My arm start to pump in the mid lap and when i completed my first lap, I stop for a drink and carry on with the race, I was trying my best to hold onto the bike as this 450 power through the rutted terrain and rear wheel kicking all over (still in motocross suspension setup), and I was able to complete the moto 1, for 30mins, I'm surprised!

After a brief 15- 20mins break, moto2 started. This time round, i can managed to hold my speed longer and faster (but i still do fall), due to lost concetration. But am able to get up and fire up the bike and carry on with the race, picking up some of the slow or crashed rider thru the race.

3 laps covered and I'm into my 4th lap, this time round, front wheel slipped, and I drop into a small cliff and after lifting the heavy bike up with all my might, I couldn't start the bike. This is bike, I was totally exhausted from all the kicking (e-start is good I guess :) ) so took out my helmet, and goggle, I waited for about 20mins, seeing many riders zoom past, but they didn't see me as I was pretty much lowered and covered by those tall grass.

Finally, a marshal came around to help me push up the bike, I asked for a drink and with the body totally shaq out, I remove my jersey, kidney belt, and even my boots, lie down on the grass, cooling my head with some water too.

Sometimes later, i heard no more sound, the race must have ended I guess. I told the marshal to inform my mate to come time to give me a hand, I was so exhausted that, I was thinking if I were able to get myself out of this state. So I was left alone in the forest, listening to all the songs of nature, with my bare upper body (luckily no mosquito)

about 15mins later, my mate come looking for me, he tried to fire up my beast, and it manage to start, God bless! With my beat up body, I was thinking to ride his e-start 250 instead of my 450. And just in time, another mate came riding a pit bike, looking for me as well. Best, I would ride that small bike, it is easier on my body.

Finally, after a wobbly ride uphill, I'm back to top of the hill, slumbering down on a beach chair, while quenching down mydry thirst.

Cool, this is the first time, I'm so beat up in a race. Perhap I should need to pick up my fitness level instead of letting other to come rescuing me again, oppss.. :P

My daughter knows something

Yesterday afternoon, my wife brough her back home early as she was not working.

When she is back home, the daughter just pull out all the toys and lay it on the floor to play with it. One of her favourite toy was the mini "fish" that will "swim around this fully automated machine, and it will sound out pretty loud music, and she will be enjoy looking at it.

However, she would normally have problem switching on the toy as her finger can't really reach that small on/off switch at the back, so when my mother in-law wanted to help her switch it on, my daughter actually put her little finger on her lips (meaning to keep quiet) and then, she place both palm together and put it beside her ear and tilted her head on the both palm (meaning sleeping).

Then my mother in-law realise that the grandfather is sleeping in the room, thus my daughter ask her don't switch it on.

She don't talk much though, but she knows something!!

The Law of Garbage Truck

How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day? However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly one can re-focus on what's important.

Sixteen years ago, in the back seat of a cab, I learned the strategy of re-focussing and the inner peace it brings. Here's what happened. I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a red car backed out of a parking space right in front of us.

My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the red car's back end by inches! The driver of the other car, whipped his head around and savagely abused us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.

I said, "Why did you just do that, he almost ruined your cab and sent us to the hospital!" And this is when my taxi driver told me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck." "Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage. As their garbage piles up, they become full of frustration, full of anger and full of disappointment and they need a place to dump it. If you let them, they'll dump it on you.

When someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personally; instead just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. You'll be happy you did." I started thinking, how often do I act like a garbage truck?

And how often do I take other people's garbage and spread it; at work, at home, on the streets? It was that day I said, "I'm not going to do it anymore." Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets.

Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe that everything happens for a reason. Never let that garbage truck run over you or pick you up along its route._________________

Uncle on scooter

This morning, i was travelling to work. I met this uncle on his scooter, infront of me.

Upon seeing me in his rear mirror, he speed up. I had no intention to speed with him, just that I'm maintaining my usual speed, and i'm slowly ovetaking him.

He was travelling somewhere behind 2 vehicles, which i'm now infront of him on his right hand side, but i do not wish to just cut infront of him as he is in my left back corner, as i afraid may cause him to jam brake, so i waited, hoping he slow down abit, so i can do it safely.

When the car on his left front clear up, he speed up and and overtake me, while i'm stuck behind this car.

He was speeding all the way toward this traffic light (with right turn arrow on), so i speed up too, hoping to pass that traffic light. (both of us are turning right)

ok, now, i saw he brake very early and slow down alot, before taking the right bend, i was just taking my own pace, brake, drop a couples of gears, and take it with normal speed and angle. After this traffic light, there is another traffic junction which we are turning left, and this uncle really slow down so much that, only when i came up straight after the left turn junction, i only manage to see him completing the bend.

After that, i just maintain my own pace, which he is "suppose" to be faster than me on the straight? I wonder, what he is trying to proof???

He is just slowly disppearing from my side mirror...

EQ level of this boss

Just found out a inside news of this Chinese business boss EQ level…

One of the staff have resign and left the coy last Friday, and when she is serving her notice period, which is 2 weeks. The boss actually ask her into his office.

The conversation between them, B = boss , S = staff

B: “when is your last day?”

S: “2 weeks later”

B: “I have a suggestion, you do not need to serve the notice period, you can don’t come in from tomorrow onward” (so that the boss can save some $$"salary" from this notice period)

S: “boss, but the other staff may misunderstood that I was being fired, if I just leave so sudden”

B: “hmm, since you need the salary (money) so badly, you can stay till your notice period is over”

S: “boss, I think is ok, my last day will be on this Friday then”

From start till end of conversation, the boss didn’t even mentioned any thing like if she would want to consider staying back with the coy. No wonder, the staff turn over rate in this coy is very high.

Good boss story

I’ve been working for this guy for ten year’s now And we’ve been thru allot as far as his business goesThere was allot of fighting, yelling, mutual almost heart attacks giving and allot of good times as wellWe accomplish allot together; me thru hard work, he thru hard work and using his big noggin I would like to think I was instrumental in his success and I know he was absolutely vital in fixing my financial situation and digging me out of a financial hole

His a really cool dude and my only regret is that as the business gets bigger I get less time of acutely working with the guy, he’s just a funny guy and a hard worker two thing I don’t witness allot with my fellow employeesSo yesterday mike, my boss calls me and say; hey muddy, I’ve got some sod that I’m gonna need some help getting off the truck in my house, do you mind coming here on Sunday to help me?

It’s only gonna take half an hour, an hour at the most, would you mind?Well I didn’t mind even thou we had my wife’s college friend came to visit us (the fact that the guy, knowing that I’ve been bike less for thirteen years now, still didn’t bring his SV650 [that I’ve recommended to him…] helped a little) it was no skin of my back plus I told him; hey I want some of that sod too and he was like; sure, I’ll split it with you

So cool, I take the wife’s CRV, put some plastic on the back so to not dirty her car and I take offI go to his house and him, his future wife and the office manger (hoes living next to the sod company and been known to get sod for a case of beer) are all sitting on his deck and small talkingI sit down and converse for few minutes and then he asks the office mngr. if she called the sod company, she says yes; they’ll be here in five to ten minutes

So he says hey muddy; help me move this statue that my soon to be future have bought, I look off the deck and In the middle of his yard there’s a big thing cover in tarp So as we go down to the yard I think to my self; good lord this looks big and heavy, what did I get my self into? But that’s ok, I really don’t mind helping my boss, he’s been generous to me thru the years so what ever needs to be done will be done

On the grass mike kinda veer to the right (away from the statue) and tells me; take the tarp off so we can grab this thing and move itSo I did…First thing I’ve notice as I pull off the tarp is the letter “H” on what seemed to be engine casing and I think to my self; what the hell?

His statue is a Honda lawnmower???As the tarp goes up and more gets revealed my mind goes blank and I get tunnel vision…

It was definitely not a Honda…...The “lawnmower” part was close, but no cigar

It was what I’ve been dreaming off now for a long time right down to the color that I wanted It’s a 08 supermotard motorcycle! And it’s my BONUS for the year!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say it got very emotional thereI still get chocked up just thinking about itAnyway, I just needed to share and let every body know that MIKE is the BEST BOSS IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!I’m going down to the garage now to kiss and caress herIt’s on guys,… …

IT”S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!!Oh yeah, there’s a moral to this story here somewere…...But I’m just way too excited to think about what it is right now

well, You know the old story, "take good care of your employees and they'll take care of the business"

Another joke

A 17 year old Italian girl tells her Mom that she
has missed her period for 2 months. Very worried, the mother goes to the drugstore and buys a pregnancy kit.

The test result shows that the girl is pregnant
Shouting, cursing, crying, the mother says, "who was
the pig that did this to you? I want to know!"

The girl picks up the phone and makes a call.
Half an hour later, a Ferrari stops in front of
their house.
A mature and distinguished man with gray hair and
impeccably dressed in an
Armani suit steps out of the of the Ferrari and
enters the house.

He sits in the living room with the father, mother,
and the girl and tells them:

"Good morning, your daughter has informed me of the problem. I can't marry her because of my personal family situation but I'll take charge. I will pay all costs and provide for your daughter for the rest of her life.
“Additionally, if a girl is born, I will bequeath a
Ferrari, a beach house, 2 retail stores, a townhouse, a beachfront villa, and a $2,000,000 bank account.”

“If a boy is born, my legacy will be a couple of
factories and a $4,000,000 bank account. If twins, they will receive a factory and $2,000,000 each.”
“However, if there is a miscarriage, what do you suggest I do?"

At this point, the father, who had remained silent, places a hand firmly on the man's shoulder and tells him, "You fuck her
again."

Check this out!! :)

Dave came home from the pub late one Friday evening stinking drunk, as he often did, and crept into bed beside his wife who was already asleep. He gave her a peck on the cheek and fell asleep.

When he awoke, he found a strange man standing at the end of his bed. 'Who the hell are you?', demanded Dave, 'and what are you doing in my bedroom ? 'The mysterious man answered, 'This isn't your bedroom and I'm St Peter.'

Dave was stunned. 'You mean I'm dead !!! That can't be, I have so much to live for - and I haven't said goodbye to my family... You've got to send me back straight away.

'St Peter replied, 'Yes, you can be reincarnated but there is a catch. We can only send you back as a dog or a hen.' Dave was devastated, but knowing there was a farm not far from his house, he asked to be sent back as a hen.

A flash of light later, he was covered in feathers and clucking around, pecking the ground.'This ain't so bad', he thought until he felt this strange feeling welling up inside him.

The farmyard rooster strolled over and said, 'So you're the new hen .How are you enjoying your first day here ? ''It's not so bad', replies Dave, 'but I have this strange feeling inside like I'm about to explode. ''You're ovulating', explained the rooster.

'Don't tell me you've never laid an egg before. ''Never', replies Dave. 'Well just relax and let it happen'. And so he did and after a few uncomfortable seconds later, an egg pops out from under his tail.

An immense feeling of relief swept over him and his emotions got the better of him as he experienced motherhood for the first time. When he laid his second egg, the feeling of happiness was over whelming and he knew that being reincarnated as a hen was the best thing that ever happened to him . . . Ever!!!

The joy kept coming and as he was just about to lay his third egg, he felt an enormous smack on the back of his head and heard his wife shouting...

'Dave, wake up, you drunken bastard. You've shit the bed!!'

The Lie Detector

John was a salesman's delight when it came to any kind of unusual gimmick. His wife Marsha had long ago given up trying to get him to change. One day John came home with another one of his unusual purchases.

It was a robot that John claimed was actually a lie detector. It was about 5:30 that afternoon when Tommy, their 11 year old son, returned home from school. Tommy was over 2 hours late.

"Where have you been? Why are you over 2 hours late getting home?" asked John. "Several of us went to the library to work on an extra credit project," said Tommy. The robot then walked around the table and slapped Tommy, knocking him completely out of his chair.

"Son," said John, "this robot is a lie detector, now tell us where you really were after school." "We went to Bobby's house and watched a movie." said Tommy. "What did you watch?" asked Marsha. "The Ten Commandments." answered Tommy.

The robot went around to Tommy and once again slapped him, knocking him off his chair once more. With his lip quivering, Tommy got up, sat down and said, "I am sorry I lied. We really watched a tape called Sex Queen." "I am ashamed of you son," said John.

"When I was your age, I never lied to my parents." The robot then walked around to John and delivered a whack that nearly knocked him out of his chair. Marsha doubled over in laughter, almost in tears and said,

"Boy, did you ever ask for that one! You can't be too mad with Tommy. After all, he is your son!" With that the robot immediately walked around to Marsha and knocked her out of her chair. Not the best... but...

If you think it's lame then post your own jokes biatchez

Please work safely

Yesterday in the afternoon, received a call from my colleague asking me to help. After listening to the urgent phonecall, I realize a technician has fell off from 2nd storey while doing work.

I got the mobile number from the other technician, immediately I called him up to find out more about the injured tech. Ok, I got the address and I called the ambulance immediately.

Rush down from my workplace and when I reached, the ambulance is already there attending to the tech. Seem like his wrist is fractured and still conscious, try talking to him and he can response to me, good.

For so many years in my work, this is the most serious injury I encounter and the first time I called the ambulance. I had always emphasized safety to my guys, no compromise on this aspect. Not that I don’t want to be responsible or I hate to write report, but they still need to think of their closest family member when they are doing dangerous work, just like myself, I have to be responsible for my family and be safe during the course of work, because end of the day, it will be their family member who suffer.

I’m glad I make the decision to call the ambulance without any delay, he could be in danger, and his partner was also in a daze when I called him.

I'm the 11111 visitors

0011111 visitor is me!!!

A brand new world for me.

Am going to embark on a totally new different route soon, feeling abit lost and getting a little excited, don’t really know what to expect.

However, I have my planning already and at least I have a direction ahead to follow. It is a little risky but I feel this could be the only chance in my lifetime to do it.

Many a time, I heard great plan and suggestion, but only end up with NATO situation (*No Action, Talk Only) but this time, I’m walking the talk, and my wife is pretty supportive of it. Life will never be the same again!

Wish me lucks!!!

Bike vs Skill

I see a lot of people these days sinking loads of money into there bikes in attempts to make themselves faster. Rider skill can not be overcome by adding power or other aftermarket accessories to your bike.

If you want to be faster than you must increase your skill level. Unless of course you drag race and then more power will help you. I don't know how many times I have seen guys with tricked out bikes. Triple clamps, bars, cluch kits etc saying that they had to do it just so they could turn or ride the thing. Then we go for a ride and they get left.

I have seen guys on old xr350s smoke guys on new yz wr 400s 450s. In the woods of course. Not drag racing. One good example was in dirt bike a while back. The article was callled How low does the Pro have to go for the average Joe. It put Ryan Hughes against an average joe.

First match up RMZ 450 and RMZ 450. Ryan hughes smoked him. Next match up RM 125 to RMZ 450. Again ryan hughes won on the 125. Then Ryan on an 85 and average joe on 450 still and ryan won. Ryan beat the guy on a drz 125 and the average joe was on a 450 still. Skill is more important than the bike.

Most people out there can't ride what they got to the full potential anyway. Anyone else agree or disagree.

Sat & Sun

SATURDAY

Had a tiring but fulfilled weekend. Finally change new rim and tyres for the car, as my wife tear the front left wheel on last Thursday when driving after work. Called me when she was stuck in jurong area, and I need to rush down to save her.

After changing to spare tyres, we went straight to a tyres shop in AMK industrial park, after choosing the rim and tyres, it was swop out almost immediately, the mechanic was well trained.

I bring the car to a alignment shop on Saturday afternoon to do some setting, install the camber kit to have slight camber to help in corner handling. It took the boss almost 2 hours to did it as one of the nut was seized, but luckily, it was removed. Alright, now the car issue settle. Went home about 4pm and had a nap.

Dinner time, brough the kids out for dinner at Maxwell market, we had the famous chicken rice and the self serviced “hum jin peng”, the fried stuff are now selling at 6pcs for $1, when I bought it more than 20years ago, it was 10cent for a piece.

It is night, we went to Singapore flyer, as agreed to bring my kids there to take a look. However, we end up buying tickets to take a ride, since we are there. There is this promotional offer till 19 May. 1 adult ticket allow 1 kid (between 3 to 12) free entry, so might as well, as I thought, we may not come here again in near future.

After the long queue, about 30mins, we managed to board the cabin. The ride is about 30mins and the scenery was beautiful. Too bad I only had my lousy handphone camera and the pic taken was not sharp and clear. Will try to upload the pic when I’m free later.

SUNDAY

Morning, brough my daughter to see daughter as we hear her coughing constantly at night, but nothing serious. Went to my parent house later with the kids and we stay there, to feed and bath them.

Afternoon, went to wash the car as it is really dirty and stained. And it was a quick wash anyway, didn’t want to waste too much time washing it.

Evening, bring the kids and my parent to pasir ris park to take a walk. Realize that now, the park is flooding with a lot more playgrounds and activities. Both my kids are really enjoying themselves and they really sweat their clothing. It is really a good place for them to expend their energy.

Even my dad also enjoy playing with some of the “playground”, it was kind of fun.

By night, we went to whitesands for dinner, due to mother’s day, almost all restaurant are long queue, so we went to foodcourt instead, as it is not so crowded.

By the time we reached home, both the kids was almost dropping dead, so we clean them up and feed them before bringing them to sleep. It was a fulfill and enjoyable weekend.

A New Male CSO

Our office came onboard a new male customer officer, which I guess is from M’sia. He wears a spec, abit plump and the speak in Msian style of mandarin.

He is good I must say, and he is a very hardworking man, though young, should be in the early 20s. can hear him keep talking to customers non-stop.

It is a pity I would say, why? With his age and work enthusiasm, he should be working in somewhere that can train him up better for his future, rather than wasting his time here, arranging schedules for customers.

This is basically a simple co-ordination work that many retiree can handle after working for a few days. If he can just put in some thoughts for his future, he will know how to go about doing it.

Even today, overheard he is asking someone to help him to buy his lunch, at about 3pm+. He is very hardworking indeed.

Office Politic

Once again, office politic pops up. And this time, I’m the victim…

Simple background, due to recent demand for services because of hot weather, the customers service center are unable to cope with all the customers calling in, scheduling of technicians work, as almost all of them, schedule is already full for each day.

Now, that supervisor of the call center, want my department to help in scheduling the work, by sending a email over to me, cc to the boss. Ok, I checked with the relative of the boss who is also in my department, about this matter. He mentioned that there was no such problems last time, only now, perhaps those new customer services officers are new (due to a huge turn over of staff) and unfamiliar. And he also mentioned, this is their department problems, not us.

So I just reply to that supervisor, about what my colleague told me, and the whole day, no reply at all.

When coming to close of the day, the boss called me to his office, together with this supervisor, and in front of the boss, she was pushing all this problems to me. As I was new in the coy, I didn’t really retaliate, just mentioned I will try to help, although this is your department problems. But the boss also only listen to one side and this supervisor work here for more than 10 years already. What can I do?

I just feel like an idiot, and I’m gonna work just like another coordinator but not as a manager. And as my colleague is related to the boss, thus this supervisor don’t dare to do this to him…

Sunday -> monday..

It’s Monday, back to work again. I’m happy.

But it’s not because of work happy, it is because I get to ride again yesterday.

Yesterday ride with two of my mates was a much satisfactory session as I guess I’m getting my form back, though no 100%, but am able to charge hard and fast, for slightly longer period.

My mate Mike, during the mini race, I can see improvement in him, when I was chasing behind him, he is pretty quick right now, he just need to show a bit more aggression to his competition.

My old sparring partner Ray, took my bike for another min race, he was second in tow after first corner and within the first lap, he got into first position. As he also stay away from riding for sometimes already, he is also rusty as I do, need to ride more to get back that form. Nevertheless, it is a nice riding day for us, though the weather is blazing hot.

Ultimately, I still need to thank my wife for taking care of the kids, so that I can go riding. And this morning, my body is not as aching like the first round two weeks ago.

Some thoughts and plans

After a mate who called me for lobang opportunity a few days ago, I was pretty excited about it, but everything is not concrete yet, however, hope it will come true.

Have been asking and checking online, why my boy was behaving so badly and lack of discipline, even though you give him warning, he don't seem to bother about what you are saying. The conclusion we reckon is maybe because of his little sister, he just want to gain attention from us. That's why he is behaving in such a manner.

This brings me to next step, if this lobang comes true, I will have flexiblilty to control and manage my own time, so I could send my boy to school daily and fetch him whenever I can. This will definitely helps if both me and my boy spend more time together.

He is now barely 4 year old and he sure know who he can go to whenever we punish him, he will just cry and run to the "proection zone" for cover. Kid now are really smart, but then I gotta let them know the right and wrong. As for now, they can make mistake and we can correct them, but if they make mistake when they grow up, it's up to them to learn a mistake in a hard way.

Increasing lunch cost

Went to AMK for lunch, go to my favourite coffee shop, wanted to eat the Bak Kut Teh (pork rib soup).

When I reached there, to my surprise, I saw a increase in pricing, from $3.50 up to $4.50! A total of one dollar increment! After contemplating, I still order it as it taste good (and I'm already there)

But come to think of it, if they increase by 50cents, I guess it is still acceptable, at least to me, but one dollar is kind of too much.

Guess I will go to other place for good Bak Kut Teh in future. Sigh....

Piss off

My boy have been on my nerve recently, and today, after parking at the carpark, i lost my temper at him. He always like to bite, or put any stuff into his mouth.

Have been telling him to do doing that as it is not hygenie, with recent outbreak of HFMD, I shouted at him just now, warn him the last time again, not to bite on that bottle of mineral water bottle again.

He still bite on the bottle happily, totally don't even bother about my warning to him, I snatch away the bottle, and smashed it on the ground. He start to cry, and behave like a spoilt brat. Then I told him, you are in the wrong and you still behave as though you are innocent?

And during the way home, he keep crying and want to look for his grandmother, why?

Anyway, deep in my mind, I had already wanted to have our own home. Why? It is because my in-law have been spoiling him, since he was a baby. Sometimes, when I want to punish him when he did wrong, they would protect him. Now he is totally out of control..

I have told my wife about it, to get our own home, so that whenever we reach home, he would not have a chance to run to his grandparent and cry like a baby. And when he did wrong, you will have problem to ask him to apologies, and he still insist he did no wrong.

I guess from now on, I will be super strict on him, ultimately, he is my son, it is my responsibility to show him the right of way in life. He may hate me, but what i do, will be for his own good in future.

Since young, i was the only kid at home to receive the most caning, from my parents and grandma, i was mad at them. Out of 3 childrens at home, why was I the one who got the most punishment? As I grew up, I start to understand them, and I'm glad that they punish me when I did wrong, and I would always thanks them deeply, in my heart, although all this years, I have never told them about my thoughts.

Same to me now, if I don't teach my son the correct stuff, he will blame me in future, why I never teach him hard enough to learn? I do not wish to see him go onto the wrong path. Please help me to show him the right way.

Riding itch..

Tomorrow is Labour Day, a public holiday for us. So it will be a good time to bring the family out. J I have plan to ride, but my wife don’t agree so I guess I need to put my family priority first.

Thus push back my riding date to this coming Sunday, if possible. Few of my mates should be riding tomorrow as they have no commitment like me.

I’m not prepare to hibernate my bike again last 1 year ago, that’s why I need to constantly get the bike warm up, to keep it in a riding state. The itch to ride is getting really bad, so got no choice. And also, my fitness level is dropping significantly and I hope to get it back soon by constant riding and to revive my hobby.

More than meet the eyes

Yesterday I have come to realize and more insight of the coy work scope for the position I’m in.

When I was about to leave after 15mins pass my knock off time, the receptionist stop me and ask me to help to answer a customer complaint phonecall.

So ok, while waiting, I was asking what is the complaint about, and as I listen, one staff was asking why they don’t get the other staff to handle it (this staff is one who is related to the boss) and he mentioned he did not want to talk to this customer, so I have to do it.

So when I listen to the complainant, he was angry, aggressive etc and I try to pacify him but it seem like not really working at all. After all the ranting, I told him I will need to investigate before getting back to him, and he seem like still not happy.

Finally, after putting down the phone, I call up the technician which he complaint, and after checking with him and his supervisor (also another boss relative), I realize this is a unreasonable customer, and this supervisor was saying, we will not entertain him, ask him to look for other contractor to resolve his problem.

And before we end this discussion, this supervisor told me, “as a manager, you have to learn to handle all this difficult customer”. Although he deals with techncians alot (like a supervisor only) but he don't talk like one, he talk like he is one of the boss.

Ok, I seem to see abit clearer now, is it the position they create for me, just like the few manager before me, need to handle all this shit? When all the boss’s relative can choose not to handle the difficult customers? And if the issue is not handle problem and get blow up, this manager will just get the chop to appease or close the case?

It’s more than meet the eyes.

My thoughts...

12 days into the organization, 2 proposals have been put up. But one was rejected and the other, no conclusion…

I can see this problem coming, talk to a colleague about this issue and he said they have consider it before but need to spend some money on it to implement, and also he mentioned that this problem have here for the past 10 over years (since he work here) and he is used to it now.

I don’t know how he is related to the boss of the company (btw, this is a typical Chinese managed company with many of the boss’s relatives working in here) but somehow, their management is very way backward, abit like how my dad run his small business, but this coy has about 100 over staff.

Discipline is lacking, lot of foreign workers with dye hair, torn jeans, wearing slipper instead of safety shoes, many can’t communicate or read English etc… although this is a well know coy in Singapore, but I already see many complaints about service standard, working attitudes, work standard etc

From 2006 till now, there is a trend of sales, transaction, turnover amount dropping and 2008 first quarter shows very clearly that there is about 25% drop in term of income.

Did a search in this particular pc which the previous manager was using, his email account was somewhat been removed, I can’t find any correspondences at all! This makes me very difficult to trace what had happen before and what are still going on. I have asked the IT department for access, but no news yet.

One important finding, from the search in this PC, I come to concluded that the last manager stay here for only 3months. From September to early December, I can see some documents data (but nothing interesting) and the website he have surf.

Best part is, he surf the website -> jobsdb on 27th Nov, cool, now what? I was analyzing, what he is the same boat as me? Trying the best to propose some improvement work, but due to coy not willing to pay, and allowing those problems to snowball?

I had the same equal feeling, I take the salary, I’m putting my head down and find a solution, but somehow, it is not working out. And like I said, the boss’s relative already mentioned this problem has been going on for past 10 years, if it can be resolved, I reckon the FEW managers before me could have done it, instead of me now.

Shit, I feel I’m wasting my time now, although I may do nothing, but this kind of work does not appeal to me, I’m feeling restless and useless now…

Sunday workout

Have been wanted to ride on sunday, but wife no approved..

And she suggested we go gym instead, so ok, I guess we need to sweat it out as we have miss gym session for a few weeks already.

Went there, all threadmill are taken up, so I just do some weight training instead. Using dumb bell to do some free weight and later, hit those station, to build up my upper body strength.

After the gym, had a nice shower, and both of us went to have a good food. To replenish the body needs.

And sunday night, it is unbelievable kinda humid and hot. Shitzz, I even had to go for a quick shower to cool down myself... aghh..

Man, I'm still sore..

Today is already tuesday, I'm still as sore as yesterday.

I would try to sit down as long as I can, not moving the butt, as my thigh are aching when I start walking, my back and both arm ache as well.

And this whole shit reminds me back in 1997, when I just started riding. I would always drag my beat up body to school, and would behave and walk like a zombie.

It is back again, but I reckon it would go away when my fitness is back up to the minimum level and I would not feel so much.

However, it just shows that my body sensors are still functioning well.

Sunday, April 20, 2008

I'm sitting in front of my pc now, both arm and my back are aching, i have not been riding for the past 1 year (base from my record)

Saturday night, went to prepped the bike, like spray new air filter oil, lube some parts, do some quick check etc, What i worried is, if the bike will fire up on the next day anot.

with the new RON98 gas pour in the tank, i try to kick start the bike, luckily it fie up within 5 attempts, i'm gald it start up and just let it warm up for awhile.

Was suppose to join a motocross race today ay msia, but because of some registration issue, am unable to make it, so nevermind, do my own practise ride.

My mate Mike was the only guy riding with me today, with 2 of my mates fly me aeroplane, but it's ok, I have enjoyed my ride today.

The moment I straddle up the bike, I don't have the "used to" feeling, perhap too long a break. And I need awhile to get familiarised with the bike again. Luckily, I got my my momentum pretty quickily.

Mike was showing some speed as well, it seem like he have improve quite significantly after weekly practise ride. good for him, the track today is still muddy and he is much get used to the "bad terrain" fear and are able to ride on it like he is on rail.

ok man, i need to stop here, my arm are aching now.

Check this out, it's funny!

Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my interest. The occasion was our 15th anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife Julie. What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse-sized taser.

The effects of the taser were supposed to be short lived, with no long-term adverse affect on your assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat to safety. WAY TOO COOL!

Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home. I loaded two triple-a batteries in the darn thing and pushed the button. Nothing! I was disappointed. I learned, however, that if I pushed the button AND pressed it against a metal surface at the same time; I'd get the blue arch of electricity darting back and forth between the prongs. AWESOME!!!

Unfortunately, I have yet to explain to Julie what that burn spot is on the face of her microwave! Okay, so I was home alone with this new toy, thinking to myself that it couldn't be all that bad with only two triple-A batteries, right?! !??

There I sat in my La-Z-Boy recliner, my cat Gracie looking on intently (trusting little soul) while I was reading the directions and thinking that I really needed to try this thing out on a flesh & blood moving target.

I must admit I thought about zapping Gracie (for a fraction of a second) and thought better of it. She is such a sweet cat. But, if I was going to give this thing to my wife to protect herself against a mugger, I did want some assurance that it would work as advertised.

Am I wrong or what ??? So, there I sat in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my reading glasses perched delicately on the bridge of my nose, directions in one hand, and taser in another. The directions said that a one-second burst would shock and disorient your assailant; a two-second burst was supposed to cause muscle spasms and a major loss of bodily control; a three-second burst would purportedly make your assailant flop on the ground like a fish out of water.

Any burst longer than three seconds would be wasting the batteries.? ? All the while I'm looking at this little device measuring about 5' long, less than 3/4 inch in circumference; pretty cute really and (loaded with two itsy, bitsy triple-A batteries) thinking to myself, 'no possible way!'?? What happened next is almost beyond description, but I'll do my best...

I'm sitting there alone, Gracie looking on with her head cocked to one side as to say, 'don't do it dumbass!!' Reasoning that a one- second burst from such a tiny little ole thing couldn't hurt all that bad, I decided to give myself a one-second burst just for heck of it.

I touched the prongs to my naked thigh, pushed the button and...

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION !!!

I'm pretty sure Hulk Hogan ran in through the side door, picked me up from the recliner, then body slammed us both on the carpet, over and over and over again. I vaguely recall waking up on my side in the fetal position, with tears in my eyes, body soaking wet, both nipples on fire, testicles nowhere to be found, with my left arm tucked under my body in the oddest position, and tingling in my legs!

The cat was standing over me making meowing sounds I had never heard before, licking my face, undoubtedly thinking to herself, 'Do it again, stupid, do it again!' Note: If you ever feel compelled to 'mug' yourself with a taser, one note of caution: there is no such thing as a one-second burst when you zap yourself! You will not let go of that thing until it is dislodged from your hand by a violent thrashing about on the floor.

A three-second burst would be considered conservative. SON-OF-A-*%#... That hurt like **% !!! A minute or so later (I can't be sure, as time was a relative thing at that point), I collected my wits (what little I had left), sat up and surveyed the landscape.

My bent reading glasses were on the mantel of the fireplace. How did they get up there??? My triceps, right thigh and both nipples were still twitching. My face felt like it had been shot up with Novocain, and my bottom lip weighed 88 lbs.

I'm still looking for my testicles! I'm offering a significant reward for their safe return!!

P. S. My wife loved the gift, and now regularly threatens me with it!

If you think Education is difficult, try being stupid!

WHY EMPLOYEES LEAVE ORGANISATIONS ?

Got this article in my email, and I find it very TRUE!!!

WHY EMPLOYEES LEAVE ORGANISATIONS ? - Azim Premji, CEO - Wipro

Every company faces the problem of people leaving the company for better pay or profile.Early this year, Mark, a senior software designer, got an offer from a prestigious international firm to work in its India operations developing specialized software.

He was thrilled by the offer. He had heard a lot about the CEO.. The salary was great. The company had all the right systems in place employee-friendly human resources (HR) policies, a spanking new office, and the very best technology, even a canteen that served superb food.

Twice Mark was sent abroad for training. 'My learning curve is the sharpest it's ever been,' he said soon after he joined..Last week, less than eight months after he joined, Mark walked out of the job.Why did this talented employee leave ?Arun quit for the same reason that drives many good people away.

The answer lies in one of the largest studies undertaken by the Gallup Organization. The study surveyed over a million employees and 80,000managers and was published in a book called 'First Break All The Rules'.

It came up with this surprising finding:If you're losing good people, look to their immediate boss .Immediate boss is the reason people stay and thrive in an organization. And he 's the reason why people leave.

When people leave they take knowledge, experience and contacts with them, straight to the competition.'People leave managers not companies,' write the authors Marcus Buckingham and Curt Coffman.

Mostly manager drives people away?HR experts say that of all the abuses, employees find humiliation the most intolerable. The first time, an employee may not leave, but a thought has been planted. The second time, that thought gets strengthened. The third time, he looks for another job.

When people cannot retort openly in anger, they do so by passive aggression. By digging their heels in and slowing down. By doing onlywhat they are told to do and no more. By omitting to give the boss crucial information.

Dev says: 'If you work for a jerk, you basically want to get him into trouble. You don 't have your heart and soul in the job.'Different managers can stress out employees in different ways - by being too controlling, too suspicious, too pushy, too critical, but they forget that workers are not fixed assets, they are free agents.

When this goes on too long, an employee will quit - often over a trivial issue.

Talented men leave. Dead wood doesn't..

My daughter called me today, twice

Vivian is already 18mths old, however, she seem to have problem to start talking. Her brother, was already started to blabber at this about this old. We were kinda worried if she would have difficulty to learn how to talk all this while. We have consult our family doc, but he said she will be fine. We don't know, if she is still not learning to talk, we may need to bring her to a specialist.
The strange thing is, she does understand what we are talking, and she can hear us too. We were thinking perhap she is "lazy" to learn to talk?
Normally, when she poo or nappy is full, she would either keep quiet or keep tagging her nappy, or we would smell it and then we will clean it up for her. But i always told her, "you must call papa if you poo ok?" She would always nod and I guess she understand it. I have been always repeated this to her when I wash up her little ass. (YES, it is always me to clean her shit and wash her ass, not my wife!!)
This morning, it is a sunday and I'm lazy and like to laze on the bed. My kids would normally wake up earlier than me. So today, as i was sleeping on the floor (my daughter slept with her mum on the bed), my daughter came and wake me up, i saw her keep pulling the nappy and I thought the nappy could be already "fullhouse", but not because of the poo. I just ask her to get her mum to clean her up and I close my eyes, continue to sleep.
But, she kept pestering me, and she pull my hand, trying to lead me up from the bed. But still, I don't bother about her as sometimes I think she wanna someone to play with her only. So, I just turn my back away from her and continue to sleep. Suddenly, she called "papa", I heard it, so was my wife who was sleeping on the bed, I was so happy that I quickly jump up from the bed and lay the rubber mat on the matteress and start to change the nappy, true enough, she poo.
As usual, I would clean up her ass and wash it at the sink, with water, with my bare hand (which my wife can't make it for this task at all!) I was thinking, perhap she was really irritated by the poo stuck on her ass for sometimes already.
This evening, I was busy reading up a magazine and couldn't be bother with the kids, as they were playing with toys in the leaving room. As it is bed time, my ger would always pull my finger, wanted me to hold her hand and bring her to the room to drink milk and go to sleep. Again, I couldn't be bother and was thinking to try the tactic again, I told her, "if you call papa, i would bring you to the room now to change the nappy and prepare to sleep.
So, she was not willing to do it, so I just continue with my reading. And after some pestering and action from her (she rather use hand than to use mouth), she tried, I could hear a faint "papa" from her, so immediately I bring her to the room.
She seem like she is trying to pronouce it with difficulty and sometimes, she would blabber non-stop while I'm not around, but i'm glad she is finally willing to learn to talk.

A brand New Start

Will be going to a new place tomorrow, hope it will be better.

Today suppose to go gym, as me and my wife have miss the training for past few weeks, BUT, we had to give it a miss today again, due to no body look after the kids.

Next week, am planning to do something, hope I will be able to make it, wish me luck!
