When man tell a lie

If a female is reading this article then just realize the value of a man; and if its a male then feel proud of after reading it!

" One day, while a woodcutter was cutting a branch of a tree above a river, his axe fell into the river. When he cried out, the Lord appeared and asked, "Why are you crying?" The woodcutter replied that his axe has fallen into water, and he needed the axe to make his living.

The Lord went down into the water and reappeared with a golden axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked. The woodcutter replied, "No." The Lord again went down and came up with a silver Axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked. Again, the woodcutter replied, "No."

The Lord went down again and came up with an iron Axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked. The woodcutter replied, "Yes."

The Lord was pleased with the man's honesty and gave him all three axes to keep, and the woodcutter went home happy.

Some time later the woodcutter was walking with his wife along the riverbank, and his wife fell into the river. When he cried out, the Lord again appeared and asked him, "Why are you crying?"

"Oh Lord, my wife has fallen into the water!" The Lord went down into the water and came up with ANGELINA JOLIE "Is this your wife?" the Lord asked. "Yes," cried the woodcutter. The Lord was furious.

"You lied! That is an untruth!" The woodcutter replied, "Oh, forgive me, my Lord. It is a misunderstanding. You see, if I had said 'no' to ANGELINA JOLIE , You would have come up with CAMERON DIAZ .

Then if I said 'no' to her, you would have come up with my wife . Had I then said 'yes,' you would have given me all three. Lord, I am a poor man, and am not able to take care of all three wives, so THAT'S why I said yes to ANGELINA JOLIE .

" The moral of this story is: Whenever a man lies, it is for a good and honorable reason, and for the benefit of others. That's our story, and we're sticking to it! - "WE ARE HONORABLE MEN!!!!!!"

A 2 dollar troubled night out with mates

Rode out my trusty old steed out to chilled out with my fellow bikers mates yesterday night.

after a few hours of hanging around at 1 chill spot, we decided to go for some food/drink.

After everyone left, I then start to fire up the bike, initially, it has some difficulty to start, so I use the choke, and finally, it fire up.

While riding on the way, I feel something amiss, the bike feel bogging, and doesn't behave like any other day when i was riding it to work everyday without fail.

However, yesterday night was weird, when I tried to rev it up, it would bog down even more, so I play it safe, just to prevent it from stalling.

And true enough, just after a U-turn at a traffic junction, my bike bog and stall, luckily there are not much traffic and i'm able to bring the bike to the road side.

Tried to start up, but was useless, and just happen one of my mate was driving, he stop by to help me carry with the helmet while I push to the meet up place, luckily it is just about 100metres away.

Suspected is my plug foul, and shitz, didn't have any tools with me, ask around from other riding mates, but didn't find a wrench that suits mine. So one of my mate drive me home to collect my tools and a spare plug, hopefully I can get it fire up and ride home later.

After struggling to get the plug removed, I failed, as the plug opener just can't seat onto the plug with the frame blocking from the top. I gave up, went to meet up with the rest of the guys and bought myself a drink.

I decided to give it another last try before leaving, I managed to get it fire up, turn up the idle screw, rev it in neutral was ok, but however, when i tried to ride it, it just bog down badly...

Totally gave up, my mate sent me home.

This morning, brough down a exact size wrench and a 2dollar NGK spark plug, the bike roar back into action, I'm glad, after the whole night struggling, it is just a cheap, simple remedy.

A tiring week

This whole week was busy with my work. I was planning to post up some blog at night when my daughter is asleep. But however, during the process of making her to go sleep, I end up sleeping early than her!

Luckily she is a clever little girl, she knew she will be in pain if she fell off the bed, although I did surround the edge of the bed with pillows and bolsters. She would usually fell asleep with her little head tucking under my armpit, oppsss... :D :D

TGIF, wnjoy ya weekend folks. :)

New rubber for my bike

After about coming to a year on the knobby tyres on my bike, decided i should drop it and switch over to a much more road friendly rubber as I use the bike daily for work.

During the way home just now, the bike feel so much smoother, and lighter. The mechanic told me some of his customer who switch to this tyres have some better fuel consumption as compare to those knobby tyres.

The picture shows the Dunlop D604.

Dedication to Doug Henry

The Southwick National is coming this weekend and the field will be racing in the missing man formation in the absence of the historic track’s favorite son. We’re talking about a man that came back from a crushed back to win the 1998 AMA National Motocross Championship. We’re talking about a man that broke both of his arms and calmly walked to the sidelines to ask a fan to remove his goggles for him. We’re talking about Doug Henry. As we all know, Doug is currently fighting another battle, this time to walk again following a Supermoto practice accident. In honor of his career, as well as his current struggle, we wanted to dedicate this week’s Shift Number Cruncher to the man whose courage over the years led Fox Racing to dedicate an entire ad campaign based on Henry that still resonates with racers today: What’s stopping you?

Back in the day Doug pretty much ran the hessian aggression. He pitted out of an old ratty van, wore long hair and jammed metal. This history later prompted John Fox of Fox Racing to make his butt logo in the “Iron Maiden” font. Check him out here rocking the RJ replica helmet and Glover riding gear as he flies a Glastonbury Cycle sponsored #369 YZ. If that isn’t metal grind core, nothing is. Doug Henry must be the best American motocross racer of his generation never to win Loretta Lynn’s. He only went twice, in ’89 and 1990, which is the year he wore the #7 bib.

Wearing his first pro number--#69—Doug had a break out year in 1991, winning the famous mudder at Hangtown that had a one-moto format due to the flashflood that hit once the AMA National started. Doug was a full-on privateer, just like the guy who won the 250 class, his NESC neighbor John Dowd.

It wasn’t all roses and daisies for Henry. Earlier in the year he suffered a highlight-reel endo at a regional supercross race that drove him into the ground so hard that he was left lying on his back, half conscious, with both arms stretched out in front of him in the mummy position. Pretty cool that #19, which he wore in ’92 while riding a DGY Yamaha, would end up being his permanent number.

Nobody really saw Doug coming in 1993, especially AMA Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath and defending 125cc National MX Champion Jeff Emig. Number 16 was sweet for Doug as he battled past both riders to win the AMA 125cc National MX Championship. He also took the East Region in SX

Doug had another great year in 1994, defending his 125 championship for Team Honda. (Make note of the member of the flagman hall of fame in this pic.) He wore #1 outdoors, and #8 in supercross.

This was a very bittersweet year for Doug. It seemed the #4 was going to be a great number for him as he wore it to his first supercross victory at Dallas. Later that summer he earned his first 250 outdoor overall at High Point and was in the hunt for the championship when disaster struck at Budd’s Creek—that’s where he launched off the giant hill, following off the back of the bike and the throttle stuck wide open, and crushed his back. The highlight remains one of the most ghastly crashes you will ever see, and the steep climb he accidentally launched off of will forever be known as “Henry’s Hill.”

Doug came back mid way through the supercross season in 1996 wearing number 15 and riding a Yamaha. Yamaha took a pretty big chance signing a rider that had suffered what was thought to be a career-ending injury the year before. Somehow Keith McCarty knew there was still a little left in the tank…

He finally got up to full song again in 1997, winning three supercross races and becoming the first rider to ever win a SX main event on the #20 white four-stroke. The machine in this picture was a full on works bike that pretty much changed the sport forever. Although it did bite Doug pretty badly at Budd’s Creek, sending him to the ground breaking both of his lower arms.

Henry’s championship in the 250 class in 1998 goes down as one of the greatest comeback stories in all of sports! He did it wearing #19, which would eventually become his permanent AMA Number—when he wasn’t wearing #1.

One other number: Henry wore #25 for Team USA at the 1998 Motocross des Nations, his only time to participate in the event. How did he do? He won the first muddy moto!

Henry rode a limited schedule, then he retired from full-time racing. But he did carry the #1 a few times outdoors, including this shot from Steel City, where he and his wife Stacey celebrated the end of his motocross career.

Doug was in semi-retirement when he came back to race Southwick in 2002 on an almost box stock YZ250. He actually passed Ricky Carmichael this weekend and led for a short while then crashed spectacularly in the second moto.

Doug left it all on the track at the 2005 Orange Crush GNCC event in De Leon, FL. Wearing #118 and riding a Honda, Doug literally collapsed into a pile of blisters and spent muscles just a few feet after crossing the finish line in first place.

This is Doug’s first and only Racer X cover from when he won the X Games (is there anything this guy didn’t win at?). Henry began a second career racing and winning in AMA Supermoto, battling with fellow living legend Jeff Ward for the win at almost every round. Nothing ever came easy for Henry. He might not have sold as many t-shirts as McGrath or won as many races as Ricky Carmichael, but Doug Henry’s chapter in the motorcycle history book has just as many pages, maybe more. Doug has overcome more setbacks than probably any rider in motocross history and is arguably the toughest son of a bitch to ever throw a leg over. He is also one of the all-time nicest people you will ever meet. Doug Henry is the man!

Dangerous & reckless rider, part 2

This morning, saw that dangerous & reckless rider again. He was right behind me. When light turn green, he just rev like there's no tomorrow.

When he zoom past me, on the left, I saw him with a pillion again. He was cutting in and out of the traffic again...

May God bless him, I do not want to see a accident just because of someone's ego. The pillion is the innocent party.

It maybe alittle late on the update...but Doug Henry is still the man

Ya, i'm really late to getting the update of Doug Henry from his last supermoto crash. Finally found some info in the website.

"He is paralized from the waist down and says he will be in a chair for the rest of his life. He can stand with help from braces. I read that in a magazine yesterday, good interview with him. He remains optimistic but realistic."
"I think we could all learn from this. All that the man has been thru and he is STILL SMILIN. What a lesson on attitude. "
"Wow. It is amazing the attitude this guy has. Unbelievable... I bet his first time out in that thing he sets the fastest lap time too. "
Way to GO Doug!!!

Another Good one

Check this out!!!

These Contractors are installing the steel pillars in concrete to stop vehicles from parking on the pavement outside a Sports Bar downtown. They are now in the process of cleaning up at the end of the day and anxious to go home.
How long do you think it will be before they realize where their vehicle is parked?

Margarine and Butter

I copy this from my mate blog, it is a interesting read up.

Something of interest to watch out for:Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys.

When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter.

How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings.DO YOU KNOW.. the difference between margarine and butter?Read on to the end...gets very interesting! Both have the same amount of calories.

Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5 grams.Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few only because they are added!Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years. And now, for Margarine...Very high in trans fatty acids .Triple risk of coronary heart disease .Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)Increases the risk of cancers up to five fold.Lowers quality of breast milk.

Decreases immune response.Decreases insulin response. And here's the most disturbing fact.... HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC..

This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

You can try this yourself:Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area.Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things: * no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value; nothing will grow on it.

Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic .

Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Reckless & Dangerous rider

This morning while riding to work, a bike zoom pass me from my left at a high speed. When he reached to the jammed pack traffic, he is squeezing his way through, with a pillion on his back.

When I came closer, I regconise this guy, this particular number plate is the same dangerous and reckless guy I met sometimes back. Even with pillion on his back now, he still ride dangerously, switching and doing lane change without due care and without consideration of other motorist. This is the kinda rider which give us other riders a bad name.

From his side mirror, I guess he is someone in late 40s, and his pillion is perhap his son? I'm stuck together with him behind him, but he keep revving his bike, trying to squeeze through every possible opportunity he can get. I can see his handle bar end almost hitting a car, and he jam his brake.

He keep looking into his mirror at me, as if I'm trying to race him. When light turn green, he just cut straight or right infront of other bikers or motorist and rev his bike, speeding down to next traffic light.

Just hope I do not meet him again on the street, I do not want to be bang into by him if he decided to do all this stupid stun on the road...
