I saw this on advrider.com and was blown away by the whole story. A guy was riding his plated XR 650 at about 55mph when a drunk cop (off duty) rear ended him on the highway doing about 61mph (in an uninsured Mustang). The force of the accident shot the guy off his XR and into the freeway where he was run over by a semi. He survived and spent a month in a drug induced coma. He ended up losing his right leg and had a mangled left leg. Well, when it was time for criminal charges to come, a couple of days after he was indicted, the ex-cop fled to Mexico. What a scumbag.
