Airbus have finally deliver the first A380 to SIA (Singapore International Airline) after a delay of about 18months. the huge A380 is a double decked, four engines airline.
with many unforseen technical issues crops up, especially on the electrical/ electronic/ software uncompatibility, this is the main reason why the delivery date has been delaying, and also, with the last 1 years, there is already a few changes of the CEO, the current CEO is infact, the forth chief of the organisation.
i'm someone that who fear to take a ride on any plane, but i'm very curious to find out, how this gigantic aircraft fare under the treacherous bad weather, or in a storm environment.
the rest of the A380 will be deliver to SIA progressively over the next 1 year. with this giant aircraft in the Singapore stable, we hope SIA can still maintain and still be in the lead for this competitive air transport trade.
