my wife ordered this special moon pies through his uncle with assorted flavours, which we tried about a month back, there are original, coffe, pandan, yam etc...
the paste and taste of this pies are almost perfect, not too sweet and not too sticky to your teeth. personally i like the original and the yam flavours pies.
the lunar 15th aug is coming soon, if you notice, almost every where are starting to sell all sort of moon cakes. however, i still prefer the traditional mooncake with the egg yolks.
and for the chinese, lunar 15th aug is the night with the roundest moon you can see throughout the year (if i'm not mistaken) and also a day for reunion of family and your love ones.
now, this would be perfect if i have some chinese tea with us.. hmm...
