Chinese Tea

Recevied this nice Chinese Tea Set from a good friend of mine, during the mooncake festival. Personally, i'm not someone so particular about drinking "kung fu cha", for this type of tea, there is a procedure to follow for brewing the tea, eg the water temperature, amount of tea leave, the first brew of the tea leave are meant to "clean up" the the content etc..
So finally, only last weekend, i found some times to take out this teat set and commissioned it to start brewing tea. So i place the tea set into a pot and boil it with hot water and not by cleaning it with soap (as told by the tea expert)
the tea leaves "Pu' er", is packaged in a compressed round shape, heard this is convenient for transportation back in China. Good quality teat leaves like this can fetch up to few hundreds or even thousands!
To really know in depth of this traditional tea culture, is not easy. it take tons of knowledges to really know all this history and background of it, so it is not just plain drinking of the tea so simple. Perhap i should start to join more tea drinking session with my good friends in order to learn more about the chinese tea culture.
